Let the Festivities BEGIN

The month of August has been CRAZY! We have had birthdays, baby showers, parties, and celebrations galore. Here is a little excerpt from our month of fun.
The pictures include, Mike Davis's wedding that we went to with K-Hawk, Tiffany, M.A., Jeff,and Chels, my friend Megan's birthday in LA at a trendy little restaurant Christine and her agent and his partner, Scott's brother Adam's birthday where we went kayaking with the whole fam, and Dowley's birthday at the Melting Pot with all the girlies!!

Actual Day and Weekend Thereafter

Scott surprised me at work and brought me flowers, chocolate, AND... two orchestra seat tickets to see Wicked, one of my FAVORITE musicals! (and for those of you who know me, you know that I am absolutely obsessed with musicals and think that life should be one big musical). After 5 years, he still treats me the same as he did when we first met. It is truly amazing. I was confused though, because he made me clear out the entire weekend for our anniversary, so I was wondering what else he had up his crafty little sleeve. It turns out, he had planned a getaway weekend for the two of us in San Francisco. We stayed at the same hotel as we did the day we eloped. We had the most amazing view from our room and the most amazing time together. It was almost surreal to be able to just reflect on how much we have grown these past 5 years, and how many incredible experiences we have had together. It feels like a lifetime, and it was also fun to speculate on where we will be in another 5 years! It was incredibly romantic to be back there with him, and we both had the most amazing time. (not to mention he is so sexy) We were lucky that our friends Kellan and Nicki, who Scott has known since high school were able to meet up with us for lunch one of the days!

Anniversary Party!!!

I can't believe Scott and I have been married for 5 years! The time has gone by so quickly. It seems like just yesterday we got married. August 21st was our five year anniversary, though our festivities lasted all month! We had our anniversary party and invited all of our close friends who have played an important part in our marriage! Cheers!
