What a great Game!!

Anyone who knows Scott and I knows what huge fans of baseball we are. Last night we attended the Angels/ Rangers game with a few friends. It was such a great game!! Torii Hunter made an amazing catch where he stole a homerun over the center field line in the 7th inning, Garrett Anderson hit a two run homer, and K-Rod got his 52nd save. It was all over an amazing game. Thank you Angels for the years of great games and also for your yummy ice cream sandwiches you sell at your stadium. Side-Note- a really fat man made a comment to me as I was walking up my third flight of stairs to get to my seat. He said "Good for you for getting your exercise, it is really good for you while you're pregnant." He said this while eating nachos. I wanted to tell him to take his own advice.

Fun and Busy Weekend!

It seems like every year the month of August is always insane. It's always full of birthdays, weddings and showers. This last weekend was no exception. My favorite aunt and uncle were in town with my cousin and his wife and their cute baby Asher. We went to dinner with them at the Rusty Pelican in Newport. Saturday it was my good friend Megan's birthday and so we went to Billy's in Newport for dinner. THEN on Sunday Scott took me to Pageant of the Masters. It was AMAZING. If you have not gone, I highly recommend going! I can now cross # 15 off of my list of 25 things to do before I am no longer 25! Hooray! 3 things down, 22 to go!!! I am so lucky to be married to a man who makes all my dreams come true.

Ode to a great show

Dear Project Runway-
I am officially addicted to you. I thought my obsession with last year's cast especially the super cute Christian and his "fierce" garments was bad. Not any comparison to this year's obsession. I am so glad you chose to kick off that annoyance Daniel and his supposed "high end" taste that he always proclaimed- yet was never proven to have. I am excited for every Wednesday night to come along. I even find myself shooing Scott out of our small group in order to get home and see you before bed. Your host, Heidi Klum is a goddess and I hope to look like her when I grow up. Thank you for providing hours and hours of entertainment and beyond that conversation for my husband and I to discuss which designers should make it to Bryant Park in the fall. If I may suggest that you kick off Blaine next- I don't really appreciate his saying "holla atcha boy" to Tim Gunn. Other than that you are perfect to me.

6 Years Already!!!

My amazing husband planned the best anniversary for us. He is so incredibly romantic, and he had xeroxed my list of 25 things to do before I'm no longer 25 and actually made three of the things happen!! He took us down to the horse races in Del Mar and then we stayed for a couple nights at the Del Coronado Resort in San Diego. Not only that but at our anniversary dinner he gave me tickets to go see Pageant of the Masters! It was so wonderful to spend time with just the two of us. We laid out at the pool, ordered room service and hung out in our beautiful room that backed right up to the beach (wink)!! This was all a surprise, he planned it all on his own. Scott you are the most romantic, caring, loving husband I could ask for, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you!

The Best Baby Shower EVER!!

My amazing friends, Megan, Jenna, Tiffany, Christine and my sister Jillian threw me one BASH of a baby shower. They rented out the sun and sail club, and had over 50 people attend. I must say, I was not expecting this huge to-do for little Brinkley, but was so blessed by it all!! The food was amazing and my house is filled to the brim now with all of the presents. I can't believe that in less than two months our little baby will be here! My friends are the best and I love them so much!!

It seems like summer is the perfect time for getting together with friends to eat, drink and be merry. We have had such a fun time this summer with our friends. Although I must say, probably no one is having more fun than me and my HUGE appetite. I have never been so hungry in all my life!! Now what to do about those calories...

Concert at the Fair

Scott bought tickets for my mom and sister and his brothers to go to a concert at the Orange County Fair. We had such a good time!!
