Baking night

Per Christmas tradition, I had my two best girlfriends Megan and Jenna over and we made cheese fondue and baked ALL NIGHT. Seriously until about two in the morning. We made fudge, peanut butter cookies and a million different other kinds.

Annual Girl's Dinner

Every year I host a girl's Christmas dinner where I invite my closest girlfriends over, I cook dinner and we have a random gift exchange. This year the theme was "something that disappears." I received condoms, KY gel, a blockbuster giftcard and candy and bath stuff. It was so much fun to hang out with the girls and have a stress free Christmas evening!

The Rockettes

I was much anticipating seeing the Radio City Rockettes at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, and they did not disappoint. We went with my family and also my best friend Tiffany and her adoreable daughter (and my goddaughter)Lillie. What a great night!

Julian

Scott took me on a little getaway to a small town called Julian. This is where we found the best apple pie we have ever had. We had so much fun looking at the little stores and walking around. and eating of course. We nearly froze our rear ends off though.

Bonjour

We took our friends, Chad and Rachel to our favorite new restaurant called LuLu's Cafe. It is a very authentic french creperie and it reminds us of being in Paris! We had such a good time with them.

Operation Christmas Child

I took my jr highers on a field trip to go to Operation Christmas Child and help package boxes that would be sent around the world to children who don't receive Christmas presents. This is something I really try to teach my students every year- to think outside of themselves and make time to help others. It was really fun for everyone.

A million plays...

I went to what felt like a gazillion plays that my students were involved in this year. They were all amazing but I am SO GLAD to not have to go to another one for a while. It seemed like every night Scott and I were running off to one of their plays. As though I wasn't busy enough directing the school play of Charlie Brown Christmas. It was an incredible success and my students brought me flowers and presents for doing it but Scott forgot the camera. :(
