Jersey Boys

My husband being the amazing man he is took me to see Jersey Boys as a surprise during the month of December. It was freakin awesome. We had such a good time together- even in the car.

The longest post EVER!!!!

Starting off with the holiday season...
My husband and I had a great Thanksgiving (2 of them total) one with his fam and one with mine including my grandparents. Look at my yummy fried apple pies I made- THANK YOU PAULA DEEN!

My Camera is Broken!!!

Well, I dropped my camera like a moron and now it has been sent to the camera hospital for FIVE weeks. I am so bummed. Luckily, I have my old digital camera that I can take pictures with, but it't not the same. The only problem is, I can't plug that one in to my computer to upload pictures, so I have to get a CD burned of it, and then insert that. Such a process!! Needless to say, I will have new photos on here in about two or three days. I am so annoyed.

Lips

For my friend Jenna's birthday, the girls decided we wanted to do something different... so we decided to go to a drag queen show in San Diego called Lips. We had such a blast, and I couldn't post all of the pics because they are a little on the inappropriate side. Needless to say, we had a pretty wild night. Happy Birthday Jen!!!

I Haven't Slept in 36 Hours

I just spent 24 hours on a ship with a bunch of 4th through 8th graders. Exhaustion does not even begin to cover it. It was part of a program that the school I teach at participates in at the Dana Point Harbor Ocean Institute. They simulate what it must have been like for early sailors during the Revolutionary War. I got to "swab the deck" and "coil the rope" and all of those other fun things that sailors did. Really, it was a great trip though, but I felt like the Von Trapp family because I ended up being awake all night because I had 10 kids in my bunk!! They were all homesick so they wanted to be with me- ALL NIGHT! I was so happy to come home to my own bed again. And to see my husband and cute little doggies. There's no place like home.

Hall of Famer Scott Cheo!!!!!

This weekend Scott was honored at Saddleback College for his baseball accomplishments. He was inducted into their baseball Hall of Fame for his records as the Southern California offensive player of the year, the career homerun record, the season home run record, and the rbi record. He is so amazing (and hot) and I was so proud to share that night with him!! Go get 'em babe!

Halloween PJ Party at the Cheo's!

This Halloween, Scott and I had a party at our house for all of our friends. (And for me, because I like to dress up.) The theme was pj's, and it was hilarious to see what some of our friends came up with. Even my own husband thought it appropriate to wear a large pink, fuzzy robe with a shower cap and mask on his "t-zone," as he called it all night long. It was a great time, and we had plenty of night munchies to keep everyone full!
