Jill's Birthday!

It was my gorgeous sister Jillian's birthday last weekend and we had so much fun! Some of my girlfriends were over that morning for brunch club (my friends get together once a month at someone's house and we have brunch on Saturday morning). We all decided to go out and get a pedicure that afternoon and when I told them it was Jill's birthday, they all decided to tag along for the birthday dinner!!

2nd shower!

The school that I teach at was so kind to throw me a second baby shower. In fact two of my former students and their families threw the shower for me at the school. They were so sweet and I got so much cute stuff. Plus there was a lot of yummy treats that my students made. I saw old students I haven't seen in a couple of years. I felt so blessed by all of these people that I love so much!

photo shoot- 35 weeks!

A couple of my girlfriends came over last night and took some maternity shots of me. And while I can't post all of them due to content, here are a few. My belly is getting so huge. For some of the pictures they asked me to lay on my back and I thought I just might pass out. Luckily Scott came home from work halfway through looking hot and was able to hop in a few of the shots.

Things I am most looking forward to about FALL!!

I am such a big nerd, but I absolutely LOVE the fall! To me, it is a new beginning, maybe because every year I go back to school. But I think there is just something about it. I get really nesty in the fall and it makes me really happy. Here are just a few things I love about this season;
-the weather- I know I live in Cali, but I love when it is crisp and cool in the morning and warm but not hot in the afternoon
-fall scented candles- pumpkin cinnamin- YUM!!
-pumpkins
-pumpkin bread
-being around friends and family a lot
-snuggling with Scott at night
-cozying up to a good book
-cute fall socks
-all of the fall TV shows that come out
-the beginning of all of the holidays
-decorating for all of the holidays
-BRINKLEY WILL BE BORN

-making cozy dinners like soup

The list goes on and on, but I am oh so grateful that it is that time again!!

First day of School

What a long day. It was my first day back to school yesterday and I was EXHAUSTED by the end of the day. I am so happy to be there though. My students were so excited to see me and I was so thrilled to see them. Who knew jr. highers could be so sweet? When they asked me who would be taking over for me during my maternity leave. I told them that I had found a really sweet teacher and they told me that they were hoping Mr. Cheo could do it. Luckily this year I am only going to be teaching two days a week, so I get to be home with my little baby the other five days. I can't wait. Happy Birthday Mom!

On Sunday we celebrated my mama's birthday. She is so excited about becoming a grandma or mimi as she prefers to be called. She is the best mom in the world and I love her so much! My family went to dinner at Orange County Mining Company and enjoyed good food, the beautiful view and company with each other.

33 week belly

This is my belly at 33 weeks. My husband is obsessed with taking pictures of it. The time is getting close! We had a 3D/ 4D ultra sound the other day. They informed us that little Brinkley would probably come early because little Brinkley is not so little. She is in the birthing position and can't move because of her size. She is ready to come out at any time. Yikes! I like this stage of pregnancy though, she moves her little body around all the time and people are so sweet to me when I am out shopping or doing whatever. Women are always telling me how adoreable I look and men are constantly smiling at me and touching my belly. I love this attention!!

Yep, that's right

This is a bib signed by the Plain White T's for my little Brinkley. My good friend Megan who I call Meddah is a makeup artist in Hollywood and she did their makeup for their new music video. She told them that my husband always sings that song "Hey there Delilah" to me and they were more than happy to sign a little bib for our baby!! Her first autograph and she's not even born yet! How lucky is little Brinkley!
