As most of you know, it is one of my goals every year to try a food I haven't tried yet. So this year for my birthday, I felt as though I should torture my friends into doing the same. We went to Marrakesh in Newport for some Lebanese cuisine and a little belly dancing. It was reminiscent of Carrie Bradshaw's 36th birthday party in case anyone was wondering. And though I am ten years younger than she was that year, I like to think of myself as somewhat of a protege. And yes, I finished the night off with a little dancing myself.

She Could Be a Model...
Miss B had her two month checkup yesterday. In case anyone was wondering, this is where the nurse forces you to hold your smiling infant down, and then they give them FIVE shots in the leg. I teared up but luckily B is so sweet she only cried for about a minute. I think I will never allow this to happen again. It's WAY too much for their little bodies. I felt peer pressured by the doctor, but not anymore baby. No way. I'm not a big fan of immunizations or medicine anyways. However, I did find out that our little sweetie weighs in at 12 pounds- which is normal, but she is 24 1/2 inches, which is in the 95 percentile. That means long and lean, a model. Ha.

Should Old Acquaintance Be Forgot....
What does that song even mean? Anyways, for New Years, and my birthday (please send presents to my home address) Scott planned a trip for us to go to our friend's cabin in Tahoe. We drove up with Miss B in the back, and being the traveler that she is, she didn't cry ONCE the whole trip up and the whole trip back. Scott had packed along my birthday presents, and a delicious funfetti cake mix with funfetti icing for all of us to enjoy. He even baked the cake BY HIMSELF. It was very cute. The morning of the first- my actual birthday, Scott and my sweet friend Christine made a feast of a breakfast complete with homemade cinnamon rolls. Then Scott asked me what I would like to do that day. I replied "I would like to go to San Fran for dinner and to walk around a little." He smiled and said, "oh KK that's what I love about you." And so we swung in our way home. More pics to follow
